*Meeting*
We held our first P.A meeting of the year on 23rd January.  A BIG thank you to all who donated items for the Christmas Fair, helped or came along on the day.  It was very busy and extremely successful.  With the funds raised at the Fair we now have a healthy balance in our bank account.  We discussed what to spend the funds on this year and it was unanimously agreed that funds should be spent in ways that will benefit all pupils in the School (such as paying for the Panto).  After discussion with Mrs Mayberry we intend to pay the cost for all pupils to take part in an African theme workshop to be held in February as part of the School’s global citizenship project.  In addition, we agreed to make a generous contribution to assist the School in purchasing new musical instruments.  Beyond that (funds permitting) we hope once again to pay for this year’s Panto (albeit December seems a long time away….!).  The footballs left over from the football tombola have also been donated to the School.

Future fundraising events

•    Raffle of a “Valentine” bear – tickets cost 25p each and will be on sale at each morning break from Monday 4th February to Friday 8th February.

•    Easter Yellow Moon catalogue / Easter raffle / Sports Day Event

Information on all these events will be given nearer the time.  Details are also posted on the School’s website.

Junior Golf Membership

A pupil who won the Christmas raffle prize of a year’s Junior Golf Membership through Edinburgh Leisure (worth £50) has handed back the prize to the P.A.  For a cost of £20 we will pass this prize on to anyone who is interested.  Please hand your details into the School Office or your child’s teacher and we will get back to you.  This offer is on a first come first serve basis…so be quick!
